Libellule (Dragonfly) Cottage is a recently converted 2 bedroom barn in Liboulas, a quiet hamlet overlooking the Gironde estuary, near the historic village of Talmont sur Gironde and just 5 miles from the nearest beaches at Meschers. Libellule is attached to a barn adjacent to the owners' house and has almost sole use of the large orchard garden, as the owners only visit for short maintenance trips in the summer.
If you have young children, you'll find the 5 sheltered beaches at nearby Meschers ideal for your summer holiday. For older children, the long sandy beach at St Georges de Didonne (just fifteen minutes away) provides loads of waterports.
Libellule is also a great base for out-of-season breaks. If you are a nature-lover, the birdlife and botany of the Gironde estuary is right at your door.
